Domain name and web hosting plans by Siteground
Siteground have three plans for shared web hosting START UP at $3.95 per month, GROW BIG at $7.95 per month and GO GEEK at $14.95 per month. You can save up to 60%, including a FREE domain name with all plans.
What plan should I choose
If you are new to WordPress and this is your first time purchasing web hosting. I recommend the StartUp plan, with 10GB of web space and suitable for 10,000 visitors. The StartUp plan is perfect for WordPress beginners.
Click on, “All Essential Features” and a drop box will appear. Here you will be able to see all of the features included in your plan. FREE domain name, 30 days money back guarantee are just some of the great benefits you will receive when hosting with Siteground.
Now that we have decided on our hosting plan, click on “Get Started”. On the next screen you will be given two choices, Register a New Domain or I already have a Domain.
Select “Register a New Domain” and enter your domain name in the box provided, then select the extension (.com .net .org). You do not need to include www.at the start of your domain, as it has been provided for you.
Domain registration is automatically selected and included in your plan. Domain name registration is the act of reserving your web address for a certain period. Your domain will remain yours for as long as you renew it.
Once you have entered your details, click on “Proceed”. Siteground will now check if the domain name you have selected is FREE. If you are successful you will see on the next screen, Congratulations. “Domain mydomainexample.com is available for registration with your hosting account”
Over half way there
Next enter in your Account information and Client information. Below purchasing information you will notice, Hosting Services – period. This is where you can select the number of months you wish to purchase, (12, 24, 36).
